UX is not UI, but UI is definitely UX

he word UX is usually used interchangeably with UI or called UI / UX. UI (User Interface) refers to the graphics the end user sees when opening a solution (app, website, dashboard, etc.). More often than not when people ask us to help with the UX of their product they really mean they want the UI to look pretty. UI and visual design are a huge part of the UX of a product but if your navigation menu is poorly organized, a pretty color scheme and cool animations will not help your user much.

For a number of years now the words UI and UX have been bandaged around when it comes to websites. UI (User Interface) and UX (User Experience) are key components that we consider carefully in every project that we make.

User interface ( UI) at its simplest level is the series of screens, pages, and visual elements— like buttons and icons— that users interact with on a device such as websites , apps, wearable’s, and software.

Whereas User Interface is user-centric. The aim is to concentrate on the accessibility, ease of use and enjoyment given by the customer’s engagement with the online presence. This in turn will increase customer satisfaction and loyalty to that firm / brand.
